Running a little low on inspiration today...but just looking at my ring makes me happy. I know it was given to me with a lot of thought and love.

I'm a devoted follower of Jesus, a wife, a high school English teacher on Long Island, a mom to too-many-cats (I blame my husband for that), and hopefully, to a real baby, as soon as God blesses us. I'm 38almost39, been married for almost 3 years, and have lived in NY for my whole life( and that equal TOO LONG!). I've also known Jesus almost my whole life, and that can never be LONG ENOUGH. I believe that the human experience is a mix of the beautiful and the tragic, but the hand of God is able to redeem it all. I'm writing this blog because I need to write this, but I hope it might mean something to you as well.

I was just looking at the beautiful dark forest green case where my engagement ring was just today... and yes... those are little things that can make us happy! Thanks for sharing that beautiful picture! it put a smile on my face!
